SAN FRANCISCO—On January 14, head down to the Eagle Tavern, where the GLBT Historical Society will receive funds from its “beverage benefit,” a longstanding Sunday tradition where hundreds of men and a handful of hardy women gather for tasty libations, hardy eats, and cruisy cruising.

As always, the GLBT Historical Society’s Eagle beer bust will feature a raffle of fun, funky, and downright queer vintage goodies. The grand prize this time around will be a pair of season tickets to the San Francisco Ballet’s 2007 season. Who says chaps can’t go with toe shoes?

The proceeds from the $10 door charge and raffle will go to the GLBT Historical Society.

THE BASICS:

WHAT: The GLBT Historical Society’s “beverage benefit” at the Eagle Tavern, $10
WHERE: The Eagle Tavern, 398 12th Street
WHEN: Sunday, January 14, 3-6 pm
