Since 2005, May 19 has been National A&PI HIV Awareness Day. 25 years since the burst of the pandemic, public health advocates begin to explore in depth the correlation between HIV and stigma in the API communities. As a result, Banyan Tree Project, an anti-stigma campaign targeting Asians and Pacific Islanders, is launched.
