Screaming Queens and SF Pride

I finally got some time to upload more photos. They are from the Pride weekend in 2006. The photo shown is my favorite girl, Marina Gatto and one of her idols Lance Bass. I’m trying my best to organize these photos in chronological order and you can go straight to the gallery page by clicking the thumbnail.
I also posted the photos from the 40th Anniversary of the Gene Compton’s Cafeteria Riot to the gallery which includes the photos of Sgt Elliott Blackstone who past away recently. Hopefully, the community would feel good enough to know that we gave this unsung hero one of his most unforgettable moments in his life.
If you happen to be near the downtown or the Tenderloin area, you can see the plaque at the corner of Turk St and Taylor where the historical event took place. By the way, we raised over $8000.00 to help the documentary produces with the cost of making this important video. To find out more about the documentary and how you can purchase a copy, please visit “Screaming Queens - The Riot at Compton’s Cafeteria“.
